REDROCK HANDHELD RIG

Well we just recently got our hands on one of the Redrock hand held DSLR rigs, and we are loving it. We played with their Ultraport DSLR rig and found it very easy to use.

The lightweight, simply designed rig was very slick while being available at a great price (an extremely reasonable $440). One of the things we like most was the flexibility it allows you. With different handle bar set ups you can easily manipulate the rig to your needs. We really liked moving the left bar up so you can hold it in the palm of your and run follow focus with your index finger very easily. The rig is small and mobile, one of the reasons the DSLR is appealing to Indie filmmakers, while still having enough weight to stabilize alot of the jitter you had before with just the DSLR.
Redrock really has made a great product. This rig would be very valuable addition to any DSLR filmmaker arsenal. You can find this and all there products at there web site.
